Over tea with A earlier, we got talking about our childhood electronic games. He's not heard of Western Bar! Oh, the travesty. He does own the classic 2 panel Donkey Kong Game & Watch, so I guess that's kinda cool too. I used to own a Popeye Panorama Screen Game & Watch. It was the bee's knees! Colour screen! If I had known you can sell it for so much money 15 years down the road, I would have kept it. :(

Anyone remember this?

The first game I mastered on my Sega Genesis!

I also played Shadow Dancer, the really lame (not to mention gay) Moonwalker and Sonic the Hedgehog until the machine could no longer withstand the daily rough and tumble tussle of three kids fighting to gain control of it and died.

Mom decided that she didn't want to deal with that, and having to lock it up during critical periods (exams) because we'd always find its secret hiding place and did not get a new one. It also didn't make us smarter like we promised. Boo.

I'd love to play Golden Axe again! Who has it?

OMG! OMG! OMG! Didn't know you played computer games!

I owned the Popeye too until I was forced to give it to my cousin who promptly destroyed it.

Golden Axe was the reason I saved up to get a Sega. I loved using the Dwarf. Duo-play rocked!

I finished Shinobi and got only halfway past Shadow Dancer as I hated deadlines.

Women seem to love Western Bar more than guys. I had a colleague who bought a nearly new one from eBay for US$80. She was really estatic when it arrived.

While games are more sophisticated now, it's still nice to be able to bash someone in Shinobi-style.

Oh yes... I got PSP.

Yeah.. the dwarf didn't look as fetching as the other two, but from what i remember, he's got the best moves. :D

Yeah.. I'm a gamer. Was hooked on Counterstrike and Warcraft 3 until I lost the CD. I think my labmate hid it from me, for my own good. :S

I loved Western Bar! Especially when you shoot three items at one go. Wow. The satisfaction. That and defeating the baddie cowby at the end of the stage. I never owned one though. Mostly played friends'. The music was cool too. lol.

So can emulate Golden Axe? ;)

Just so you know, I still have Golden Axe 2, Sonic 1, 2 and 3.

As for Western Bar, my young cousin is still playing an antique from his other cousin who is slighter older than me.

The problem is, I have the Seag controllers, games (almost 20) but I can't seem to find the sets. I might have threw out the set during my last cleaning
