Ferrets, Ferrets and more Ferrets! Okay, we're exaggerating a bit, but we think you'll like this one. We've added a new file in the Downloads section consisting of Ferret icons in different camo schemes, as well as a Photoshop template for making more. Ever wonder what a Ferret would look like in a Woodland camo? Well, here's your chance to do something about it. And if you actually don't know what a Ferret is, well, it's high time you found out!

Man, how could we have missed this? You've all heard of striders like the Mammoth and Naga, right? But what about the Thunderhammer and Fire Dragon? These two are the largest striders on Terra Nova and DP9 has just produced a miniature for the Thunderhammer. Check out this pic! The huge Mammoth looks small beside it and the Hunter looks positively puny! There's also a pic of the underside and the blister pack that it'll be sold in.

Well, looks like the wait is over for Heavy Gear fans in Singapore! You can finally catch the Heavy Gear animated series on Central, Mondays at 10.30am. If you missed the first episode (The Tournament), be sure to tune in next week. And after all that waiting, we've got only two words to say: About Time!

Mash Some Metal, a site dedicated primarily to the Heavy Gear animated series closed down a few months ago. We thought it was gone for good, but we're now glad to hear that the discussion boards are still around. They can be found at Gear Jammin'. Thanks to Sweet Venom for the news!

Also, we've put up a new poll. How did you first encounter Heavy Gear? We'd like to know!

Well, we're finally back after a rather long hiatus. Hopefully, the website problems we've been having of late are now solved. Look forward to more updates in the future, but for now, we'll leave you with something from a little project of ours.

We've been playing around with the idea for some time now and one of the things that resulted was a piece of fiction called Splinter. It's just a test piece to get a feel for the character and background, but if you do find it intriguing, we'd love to get some feedback.
