Introduction

The National University of Singapore with support from the Singapore Economic Development Board is launching a Center of Excellence for GxP.

In preparation for this Center, NUS, in collaboration with the Health Sciences Authority, Singapore, are sponsoring a conference designed to identify the critical topics facing global health authorities and manufacturers in the areas of Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Clinical Practice and Good Vigilance Practice that can be addressed by academic research and educational programs.  Whilst it is anticipated that the educational programs will be based in Singapore, we believe that this Centre will have global reach as we develop partnerships and collaboration with key stakeholders around the world.

Objectives

This conference aims to:

•Underscore and define pharmacovigilance activities in the GxP framework,
•Define resource and training needs in key GxP areas, and
•Develop a self funding and sustainable model for the GxP Centre of Excellence that addresses changes to regional and local health product regulations

Invitation

Participants to this conference will be by invitation only, and includes key scientists, industry, regulators, and trade association lawyers with interests in GXP education and regulation.

We would like you to join us at this invitation-only event that will be limited to 50 participants.

The conference will be held over two days on 25-26 March 2008. The venue of the conference will be in Singapore and further details will be forthcoming.

Details of the conference program can be accessed here.
